Free Mobile Apps

Free Rx iCard

The Florida Rx Card prescription assistance program helps people in need save money on their prescription medications. The free pharmacy coupon/card can save a family up to 75 percent on medications and is accepted at most pharmacies. The Free Rx iCard app lets the prescription assistance card be used from a mobile device. The app is available for both Apple and Android and is completely free. Simply download the Free Rx iCard app and select your state from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. For more information, click here

CDC’s Milestone Tracker Mobile App

Now you can track your child’s development on your smartphone. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention app helps families learn more about their children’s growth and development. It has info on developmental milestones a child will achieve as well as videos and photos of the “milestones in action.” From birth to age 5, your child will reach milestones and this app allows you to keep track with an interactive illustrated checklist. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Health Information at Your Finger Tips CDC 24/7’s free mobile app gives weekly information about contagious diseases to learn about, prevention tips, pertinent health concerns, Q&As, including links, podcasts, and videos for families. Download it now, by clicking here!

Text4baby Message

Text4baby Message is the largest and a completely FREE mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health through text messaging. Daily Vroom

Florida’s Office of Early Learning has partnered with Vroom to present early learning brain-building activities to parents of children ages 0 to 5. The Daily Vroom app offers daily activities for parents to try during mealtimes, bath times and anytime throughout everyday routines. To learn more, click here.

Footsteps2Brilliance

Footsteps2Brilliance is an early learning solution that helps children become proficient readers. Footsteps2Brilliance curriculum contains more than a thousand interactive books, songs and games that can be read in either English or Spanish.
