Throughout November, communities in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties will host events where residents can receive free turkeys or Thanksgiving meals. Saturday, November 15

• Turkey Giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon. Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 2500 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32804. One turkey per household while supplies last. For more information, call 407-836-4357.

Wednesday, November 19

• Osceola County Thanksgiving Meal Distribution begins at 10 a.m. at Archie Gordon Memorial Park, Soccer Field, Kissimmee, FL 34743. Osceola County residents can drive through to receive a free frozen turkey and Thanksgiving meal essentials. For more information, click here.

Saturday, November 22

• Thanksgiving Project from 10 a.m. to noon. Heart of Florida United Way is giving Thanksgiving meal kits to families in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Each kit includes shelf-stable food items, a roasting pan, a dessert pan, community resource info, AND a grocery gift card — all meant to give families a hand up this holiday. • Turkey Giveaway at 10 a.m. Solid Rock Community Church, 1904 Michigan Ave., Kissimmee, FL 34744. It is first-come, first-served while supplies last. It is open to all Osceola County residents. For more information, click here.

Monday, November 24

• Turkey Giveaway from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Inter&Co Stadium, 655 W. Church St., Orlando, FL 32805. Get a free turkey with sides. It’s first-come, first-served until it’s gone. In partnership with the Coalition for the Homeless and the Christian Service Center, essential items will also be provided to our local unhoused neighbors. For more information, call 407-246-2005.

Tuesday, November 25

• Turkey Giveaway begins at 2 p.m. at the Barnett Park Rec Center, 4801 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
