4C Head Start held its In-Kind Recognition Ceremony at Caribe Royal on Tuesday, November 25. The purpose of the ceremony was to honor outstanding providers in the organization, celebrate strong connections between families and providers, and recognize significant accomplishments using Learning Genie effectively.

Lake Mary Bilingual was recognized for meeting its in-kind goal for 2024-25 and surpassing it for 2025-26. Adriana Bonilla of Lake Mary Bilingual Academy spoke at the ceremony about how her site achieved its goals.

Providers achieving 100 percent or above parent onboarding rates, showcasing their commitment to ensuring families feel welcomed and integrated into the Learning Genie program were Lake Mary Bilingual HS, Naomi Helligar EHS, and Rising Kids Academy Child Care Partnership.

Providers achieving 90 percent or above parent onboarding rates, showcasing their commitment to ensuring families feel welcomed and integrated into the Learning Genie program: Apopka Child Academy CCP, Coqui Academy CCP, Coqui Academy HS, Coqui Academy San Marcos CCP, Dreaming Big Learning HS, Ferguson Center EHS, Ferguson Center NPE, Golden Bear Academy CCP, Hands On Academy CCP, Lake Mary Bilingual HS, Lawton HS, Little Acorn EHS, Little Angels EHS,  Midway HS, Naomi Helligar EHS, Orlando STEAM Academy CCP, Orlando STEAM Academy NPE, Palm Plaza EHS, Palm Plaza HS, Reenie Johnson Family Child Care CCP, Rising Kids Academy CCP, and Teddy Bear Family Child Care CCP, 

The top four classrooms in each program were recognized for their outstanding contributions to sharing family engagement activities and learning updates with families in Learning Genie. 

Child Care Partnership: Apopka Child Academy CCP Classroom A, Orlando STEAM Academy CCP Classroom B, Coqui Academy CCP Classroom C, and Rising Kids Academy CCP Classroom B.

Head Start: Palm Plaza HS Classroom D, Coqui Academy HS Classrooms A and B, and Midway HS Classroom A.

NPE: Ferguson NPE Classrooms 123, 126, 128, and 130.

Early Head Start: Ferguson EHS Classrooms 174, 177, 178, and 184.

The following were recognized for achieving or exceeding the Year-to-Date In-Kind average in the program area: Coqui Academy San Marcos CCP, Coqui Academy CCP, Rising Kids Academy CCP, Ferguson Center NPE, Ferguson Center NPE Classrooms 123, 126, 127, 166, 170, and 173, Ferguson Center EHS, Ferguson Center EHS Classrooms 124, 125, 165, 171, 177, 179, 184, Little Angels EHS, and Palm Plaza EHS.

Honorable mention: The following were recognized for meaningful improvement in In-Kind contributions and strengthened family engagement: Apopka Child Academy CCP, Orlando Day Nursery NPE and EHS.
