Community Coordinated Care for Children’s directly operated Head Start Preschool and Early Head Start sites have earned accreditation from three regional accrediting bodies through Cognia.

The accreditation applies to five sites:

• 4C Early Head Start – Ferguson Development Center in Orlando
• 4C Head Start Preschool Altamonte
• 4C Head Start Preschool Lawton in Oviedo
• 4C Head Start Preschool Midway in Sanford
• 4C Head Start Preschool/Early Head Start – Palm Plaza in Kissimmee

Cognia Accreditation is a respected mark of quality worldwide, recognized in more than 90 countries. For more than a century, schools have invited Cognia and its legacy agencies – the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) – into their classrooms.

By becoming Cognia accredited, 4C makes a commitment to providing high-quality education through a rigorous process of self-assessment and evaluation by Cognia experts.
