4C Family Newsletter | April 2025

Community Coordinated Care for Children is committed to strengthening our communities and families. It’s our belief that every child deserves a bright and successful future. We produce this newsletter as part of 4C’s mission to be a community leader by providing high-quality services that improve the lives of children and families.

Head Start/Early Head Start

Family engagement drives positive change for children, families, and communities. It emphasizes building relationships with key family members in a child’s life. These members include pregnant women, expectant families, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers. This effort involves a commitment to forming and maintaining partnerships that boost family well-being. It also respects and supports the parent-child bonds essential for a child’s healthy development, school readiness, and overall well-being.

Families and children at the 4C Head Start Midway Child Development Center in Sanford, Florida, came together to create a family garden together. To learn more, click here.

From Health News Florida: “Experts tend to focus on the kinds of foods you can eat to improve your health. But the speed at which you devour your dinner matters just as much. There are risks with eating too fast — think stuck food and the potential to overeat before your brain tells you to stop.”
