Analytics Terminology

Website
  • Users: Number of unique people who have initiated at least one session during the date range.
  • Sessions: Total number of sessions within the date range. A session is a period of time a user actively engaged with the website.
  • Page Views: The total number of pages viewed. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
  • Page Views Per Session: The average number of pages viewed during a session. Repeated views of a single page are counted.
Facebook
  • Followers: The total number of people who have opted-in to “follow” a page, meaning that they will receive page updates in their timeline.
  • Likes: The total number of people who have “liked” a page and may receive page updates in their timeline.
  • Reach: The number of unique people who had any content from a Page or about a Page enters their screen. This includes posts, check-ins, social information from people who interact with your page.
  • Engagement: The number of unique people who engage in certain ways with a Page post, for example by commenting on, liking, sharing, or clicking upon particular elements of the post.
Twitter
  • Followers: The number of unique people who receive Tweets from an account.
  • Impressions: The total number of times a tweet shows up in other timelines.
  • Engagement: The total number of times a unique user interacted with a Tweet. Clicks anywhere on the Tweet, including Retweets, replies, follows, likes, links, cards, hashtags, embedded media, username, profile photo, or Tweet expansion.
