- Your provider will be notified of your request for a Break In Service.
- Breaks In Service can be authorized for a maximum of 90 days.
- During a BREAK IN SERVICE, 4C will not pay your child care provider. If you use care during this time, you are responsible for full payment to your child care provider.
- If your break in service exceeds 10 days, you must contact 4C at the end of your break in service and request an updated Child Care Certificate BEFORE your child(ren) can return to the child care provider. If an updated certificate is requested, you must log in to the Family Portal and provide an electronic signature when contacted by 4C.
