Family and Individual Counseling
Service consists of short-term counseling sessions that focus on communication skills,
stress reduction, anger management and child/parent/teacher behavioral contracts.
Employment resource center provides one-on-one employability skills training that focuses on resume writing, successful interviewing techniques and internet job searching. Assistance is also provided to identify viable employment opportunities matching participants’ skills, abilities and interests.
Village House Program
Village House is a 24-hour SAFE HOUSE for children that is located within their neighborhood. Youth come together at their Village House on a daily basis for life-skill classes, homework assistance, recreation and positive reinforcement to excel in life.
Violence Interruption Program
Provides anger management training for individuals, families and groups to help recognize the underlying causes of violence. The focus of the program is to promote positive behaviors through improved communication and decision-making skills.
After-school tutoring program for students attending Eccleston Elementary. The program’s focus is reading comprehension and math skills development.
Parenting Empowerment Group
A holistic approach to meeting the social, physical and economical needs of parents. The fun and enlightening group encourages parents to be their best in every aspect of their lives.
Child care, utilities/rental/housing assistance, mentoring and tutoring, food/clothing/shelter and adult education.

Funded by the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children, the Neighborhood Centers for Families (NCF) are available to all Orange County residents. A Neighborhood Center for Families is made up of non-profit organizations, government agencies, churches and community groups that work together to provide family-friendly accessible services and activities to families in their neighborhoods. Each NCF is uniquely designed to address the needs of the surrounding community. All services are offered free of charge and typically include employment assistance, counseling, academic enrichment activities and health services.
